A peek inside Holiferm's new lab

We are pleased to show you our fully furnished new lab, with four bioreactors and autoclave installed and up and running. We have also recently acquired a drop shape analyser, which allows us to measure dynamic surface tension and contact angles, and are currently in the process of obtaining a HPLC. These tools will help us characterise our sophorolipids giving us the ability to accurately benchmark the performance of our biosurfactant products against other common surfactants already on the market. This will enable Holiferm ensure product quality and help clients and partners better utilise our sophorolipid products. We are continuing our extensive downstream and formulation work and producing sophorolipids for our partners and clients for testing in their own formulations.

Overall all of this is moving us towards the realisation of our aim of commercialising sophorolipids and other biosurfactants, bringing these products to all available markets.
